Using the forum. By registering on this forum, you agree to use it properly, and to refrain from posting any content that is aggressive, offensive, defamatory, hateful, or in violation of applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to post messages inciting or evoking illegal practices, or violating the terms of use of the service.

The moderators and administrators of this forum will do their best to delete or edit any reprehensible messages that may be posted on the forum. You acknowledge that all messages posted on this forum express the opinion of their respective authors, and do not necessarily reflect the position of the moderators and administrators.

In order to ensure the moderation of this forum, any message violating the preceding provisions may be edited or deleted without notice by the moderators and administrators of the forum. Any abuse may also be sanctioned by banning or deleting the user account. We reserve the right to inform your access provider and/or the judicial authorities of any malicious behaviour.

Breaking rules result in punishments. There are five types of punishments: 1. Warning 2. 5 Day Ban 3. 1 Month Ban 4. Half Year Ban 5. Permanent Ban The following rules list the most serious violations: 1. No Hacking - This should go without saying, but you are not permitted to hack the board. Guessing someone's password other than your own and succeeding counts as hacking. Members who hack will instantly be permanently banned without any warnings. 2. No Discrimination, - You may not insult members based on their religion, race, sex, political beliefs, or whether they are gay or straight. This is worse than flaming, because it also hurts other members of the board who fall into the category you insult. EOA is a place where everyone but is equal, and discrimination will NOT be tolerated! 3. No Bullying - Do not pick on other members. The worst kind of bullying is where new members are picked on. This hurts the member as well as the board. 4. No Flaming - Flaming harms the nice atmosphere of EOA. It also causes thread's to go off topic, and most importantly, it hurts the person being flamed. The victim may defend themselves against any accusations made to them, but may not make any additional accusations to the flamer (which also counts as flaming). 5. No Curse Filter Evasion - Curse filter evasion is abusing the tags so your curse word does not get filtered. This will not be tolerated. If you want to use a word that has a curse word inside of it, (Like "Assassin") you may evade it. If you are unsure if the word you want to use is evasion-safe, ask a mod via private message or simply use a simile. The following rules are also important: 1. No Advertising - You are not permitted to make money using EOA. You are not allowed to use the member list to obtain Instant Messaging screen names to harass people to purchase a product from you. You can advertise things such as sites in your signature, but no product links. 2. No Illegal Activity - You are not allowed to break the law using EOA. This can get EOA into legal trouble. Posting links to ROMs is illegal, so this counts as a violation of this rule. If you want to put a hack on the forum, upload a patch. Anyone who uploads a ROM obviously hasn't read the rules, and will be bumped up to 1 month ban. 3. No Double Posting or Spamming - You may not post more than once in a row in the same thread. Posting lots of times in a row reduces the quality of the board, is a waste of the board's memory, and provides the culprit with ill earned post count points. Double posts will be merged into regular posts. The only exception to this rule is if your edit timer (24 hours) for the post has run out, in which case you may double post if you have something important to add. Spamming is also not allowed, and is defined as a post that has no meaning. 4. No Topic Bumping - If a topic you created has no replies, you may not post again in it (although you may edit the post if the timer has not run out). If you made the thread because you need help with something, you may post again as long as you include additional information about your problem (the fact that you really really want it fixed does not count as additional information). You must post this in the same thread, and you are not allowed to create more than one thread per topic. 5. No Posting Personal Info - You may not post your last name, or your street address on EOA. This is because this information then becomes accessible to anyone. 6. No Porn - This will not be tolerated. None shall be found on the forum. None shall be found on the gallery. None shall be found in your signature. None shall be found at this web address. EOA is a place for tappity tapping video games, NOT for porn. Leave that stuff on paheal.net There are no excuses for breaking the rules. It doesn't matter if you were angry at the time and weren't thinking straight. It doesn't matter if you were only kidding around. If you break a rule, it does the same damage, regardless of your reasons for breaking it, and you will be punished all the same. Admins also have the right to ban you for any reason. Don't, however, think we're going to pointlessly ban people. If you get banned, we have a good reason for it. Follow these rules, and you will be just fine.
